DescriptionTextron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting preserves.
Responsibilities- Establish and coordinate production schedules in a factory environment to ensure the most efficient flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between or within departments.
- Prioritize and plan production activities to maintain on-time delivery, monitor execution of production orders, and adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
- Work cross functionally as part of the Production Control team to address equipment downtime, material shortages, and other factory problems.
- Enhance the usage of company’s SAP system for accurate scheduling and to drive improvements in assembly (minimize downtime, reduce inefficiencies, reduce excess inventory)
- Develop, maintain, and analyze production control reports to drive improvements in production.
- Coordinate processes for parts that have different procurement needs.
- Monitor supply base performance as related to delivery and quality, and work with the supply base to resolve issues.
- Manage inventory levels to avoid excessive inventory, inventory shortages, and inventory inaccuracies within defined guidelines.
- Analyze actual and potential supply problems or delivery issues and provide timely communications and analysis to management.

Microsoft Office Applications required; SAP preferred.
