Position Overview

The Woodshop Production Associate plays a key role in producing custom wood cornice boards by measuring, cutting, assembling, and inspecting components to meet customer specifications. This hands‑on manufacturing position is ideal for someone with woodworking or carpentry experience who enjoys working with tools, values quality craftsmanship, and follows safe work practices.

What you'll do

  • Read work orders and follow measurements and specifications to build custom wood products.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble wood components accurately.
  • Operate woodworking tools and equipment, including table saws, radial arm saws, jigsaws, belt sanders, and staplers.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Sand and prepare wood components for the next stage of production.
  • Inspect finished products for accurate measurements, quality, and workmanship.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow company safety and quality procedures.
  • Work with team members to meet daily production goals.
  • Assist with other woodshop and production activities as needed.

Who you are

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Previous experience in woodworking, carpentry, cabinet making, construction, manufacturing, or a related hands‑on environment preferred.
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
  • Comfortable working with wood and production equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Dependable, safety‑conscious, and willing to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Training may be provided for candidates with strong hands‑on, mechanical, construction, or production experience.
