Job Summary

The Graduate Program Content Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining educational and recruitment materials for the Graduate School (TGS). This role collaborates with faculty, subject‑matter experts, and marketing staff to create engaging, accurate content that reflects the graduate programs and the University’s goals. Effective communication, project management, and a strong understanding of TGS programs and recruitment needs are critical.

Responsibilities
  • PROGRAM CONTENT DEVELOPMENT
    :
    Design and develop recruitment materials (brochures, flyers, digital content, videos, podcasts, virtual tours, FAQs) that showcase program excellence and interdisciplinary collaboration. Update and maintain content across platforms, collaborate with faculty and program directors, research competitor programs, and support recruitment events and workshops.
  • TARGETED CAMPAIGN IMPLEMENTATION
    :
    Develop outreach campaigns via email, social media, and online advertising; create personalized content for segments of prospective students; monitor campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies; coordinate with admissions team and identify new marketing opportunities.
  • CROSS-DEPARTMENTAL COLLABORATION
    :
    Serve as liaison between TGS, academic programs, AU Online, and other departments; participate in content planning meetings; partner with university departments to highlight interdisciplinary offerings; align content with broader marketing strategies.
  • DATA-DRIVEN CONTENT OPTIMIZATION
    :
    Conduct research, analyze feedback, evaluate and enhance recruitment strategies; track metrics for email and social media; assist with surveys, focus groups, and web analytics to improve program visibility.
  • SOCIAL MEDIA AND CONTENT CURATION
    :
    Coordinate with Web Developer to execute social media strategies; curate content aligning with TGS communication plans; monitor trends; ensure alignment with AU standards.
  • SUPPORT TGS-WIDE EVENTS
    :
    Prepare materials for recruitment fairs and events; assist with TGS-wide events such as Graduate Research Day and Welcome Back Reception.
  • OTHER DUTIES
    :
    Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Required
    :
    Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • Preferred
    :
    Marketing and Communications degree; experience with brand, creative, and digital teams; familiarity with CRM; experience working within a CRM environment.
  • Knowledge
    :
    Proficient in Microsoft Office and other software/databases.
  • Skills
    :
    Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, organized; excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Abilities
    :
    Maintain confidentiality; work independently under general supervision with tight timelines.
Compensation & Benefits

Shift: Days, Monday‑Friday (outside standard business hours may be required).
Pay Band: B9.
Salary: $48,800 to $55,000 annually (commensurate with qualifications within the established range).
Recruitment Period:
Until Filled.
