The City of Ringgold is now accepting applications for the position of Director of Communications & Tourism
, a leadership role responsible for overseeing citywide communications, tourism marketing, and serving as the City’s Public Information Officer.

The position will lead media relations, press releases, social media strategy, website content, and overall brand management. The Director will also guide destination marketing campaigns promoting Ringgold’s attractions and events, oversee visitor services and tourism partnerships, manage contractors and creative projects, and provide quarterly reports and annual performance plans. The role works closely with the City Manager and Tourism Board.

Qualified candidates should have experience in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or tourism, along with strong writing, digital media, and brand management skills. Experience in government communications or destination marketing is preferred. Salary will be based on experience.
