Pay Range: $33 - $58/hour. Competitive compensation with night shift differentials.

• Pediatric Critical Care: Provide comprehensive, high-acuity nursing care to children with life-threatening conditions, including respiratory failure, traumatic injuries, post-surgical recovery, sepsis, and complex congenital or acquired illnesses.
• Advanced Clinical Monitoring: Manage advanced life support equipment including ventilators, monitors, IV pumps, and invasive lines.
• Interpret complex data and respond rapidly to subtle changes in a child's condition.
• Family-Centered Care: Partner with parents and families as essential members of the care team. Provide emotional support, clear communication, and thorough education during highly stressful situations.
• Practice relationship-based care consistent with population-specific (pediatric) characteristics.
• Care Coordination: Collaborate closely with pediatric intensivists, specialists, respiratory therapists, and other team members.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and maintain precise documentation in a respectful, inclusive environment.
• Emergency Response: Function with decisive composure during pediatric emergencies, utilizing PALS protocols and advanced resuscitation skills.
• Professional Development: Maintain all required competencies and certifications. Serve as a preceptor and mentor for new nurses, modeling professional practice and contributing to a healthy work environment.

• Key Skills;
  Current RN license (Georgia or Compact State)
• Current BLS certification (required upon hire)
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric critical care
• Compassion and expertise in caring for critically ill children and their families
• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required
  .
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is strongly preferred
  .
• Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) is preferred
  .
• Current RN License in the State of Georgia or a Multi-State Compact License.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required upon hire.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification is required (or must be obtained upon hire).
• CCRN (Pediatric) certification is highly desirable.
• Experience in a Pediatric ICU, Pediatric Critical Care, or Pediatric Emergency Department is highly preferred.
• New graduates with completed pediatric critical care rotations or internships are encouraged to apply.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and assessment skills specific to the pediatric population.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and family support abilities.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, emotionally charged environment.
• Proficiency with pediatric medical technology and monitoring systems.
