💰 Pay Rate: $33 – $59/hour (based on experience)

The Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU provides high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced intensive care environment. The ICU RN utilizes clinical expertise, critical thinking, and advanced technology to monitor, assess, and manage complex patient conditions while collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill and high-acuity patients
• Continuously assess patient conditions and respond promptly to changes
• Monitor vital signs, hemodynamic status, ventilators, and invasive lines
• Administer medications, IV drips, blood products, and treatments as prescribed
• Perform and assist with advanced procedures and emergency interventions
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in EMR systems
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and healthcare team members
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery processes
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and patient safety standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific or compact license)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification (required or within a specified timeframe)
• Minimum 1 year of ICU or Critical Care experience (preferred; varies by facility)
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
• Experience with ventilated patients and hemodynamic monitoring
• CCRN certification (preferred)
• Experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred in many facilities)

Work Environment

• Fast-paced, high-acuity ICU setting
• May include day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
• Requires standing, lifting, and responding to emergencies
