Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse to provide specialized perioperative care in a cardiac vascular operating room. The role involves managing adult to geriatric patients undergoing complex vascular procedures, ensuring patient safety and clinical excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and monitor both BLS and ACLS protocols to ensure patient safety during cardiac and vascular surgeries.
- Operate within the vascular service line, supporting procedures like EVAR, CSI, and Penumbra Ratio.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare sterile fields, assist with endovascular and vascular interventions, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Document patient care accurately in Epic or Pyxis systems, maintaining compliance with hospital policies and standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations, including overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts, to provide continuous patient care.
- Support floating to other OR units as needed, maintaining flexibility and clinical readiness.
- Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years' CVOR surgical experience.
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS.
- Proven experience with endovascular procedures, EVAR, and vascular surgeries.
- Ability to work effectively within the Epic electronic health record system.
- Strong understanding of vascular surgical protocols and patient management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to function under pressure.
