Requirements
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- Required experience with endovascular/vascular procedures (EVAR emphasized) - Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Required licensure: GA RN or Compact RN
- Experience with CSI and Penumbra devices preferred
- Familiarity with clinical skills related to endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR), thoracic EVAR (TEVAR), carotid and peripheral vascular interventions preferred
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in an acute care setting within the vascular/endovascular service line.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient assessments and care plans.
- Assist in performing endovascular procedures and monitor patients pre- and post-operatively.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure strict compliance with facility policies and protocols.
- Educate patients and families about procedures and provide continuous support.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the unit.
Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 40 hours standard; number of non-billable orientation hours varies by contract length.
- RTO (Request Time Off):
Maximum 7 days per contract; blackout period April 4–12.
- Traveler expected to work major holidays during assignment.
