RN: PCU​/IMC​/Stepdown

Job Description:

Join our travel healthcare team as a PCU Registered Nurse for a 12-week contract in Augusta, Georgia. This role focuses on intermediate-level monitoring and medical-surgical care for adults to geriatrics, with patients coming from direct admissions through associated clinics, physician offices, urgent care, other hospitals, or via the emergency department.

Your nights will follow a 3×12-hour schedule, supporting an active, fast-paced unit centered on patient throughput and strong teamwork. Patients are placed on hardwired telemetry and continuously monitored by the RN, supporting care for diagnoses such as dysrhythmias, CHF, acute stroke symptoms not requiring TPA or critical care, and Acute Coronary Syndrome/Myocardial Ischemia. Work takes place in a unit environment that uses Epic and Pyxis.

To be ready on day one, you’ll bring a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (1st timers accepted) and hold BLS and ACLS certifications. Flexibility is part of the assignment—floating within the facility and within scope of practice may be required.
