Hours:

Full time nights, 36 hours per week (3 days on / 12 days off). Sign on bonus: $20,000.

Registered Nurses provide quality nursing services by working with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and to provide a positive, supportive environment. The RN is the frontline representative of the patient care team, often serving as the intermediary between the patient and family, the provider(s), and other care team members.

• Patient Care and Care Coordination:
  Monitors, examines, and evaluates patients’ conditions; assists with the care plan; promotes short‑ and long‑term outcomes and wellbeing; delivers care plan as outlined, applying independent judgment; collaborates and communicates care plans; prioritizes patient flow; delivers safe and effective care per policies; maintains documentation.
• Patient Advocacy and Satisfaction:
  Listens to concerns, probes in‑depth to understand needs; serves as an educational resource for patients and families; communicates necessary patient information; embraces patient‑ and family‑centered care; prioritizes actions; provides input to plan of care.
• Performance Improvement:
  Seeks opportunities to improve work environment and processes; contributes ideas; supports change implementation; aligns with better patient quality outcomes, satisfaction, staff satisfaction, and financial performance.
• Professional Competency and Growth:

• Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards, and code of conduct.

• Associates Nursing or Diploma (RN) – Preferred Bachelor’s Nursing.

• BLS – Basic Life Support (Instructor or Basic) or ARC‑BLS – American Red Cross Basic Life Support.
• RN – Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN‑COMPACT – RN Multi‑state Compact.

Experience with direct patient care preferred.
