Description:
A registered nurse is needed for a cardiac telemetry unit. The nurse will care for patients post-myocardial infarction, heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, and peripheral vascular disease. The nurse is expected to manage peritoneal dialysis, telemetry, EKG, and Doppler. The typical patient ratio is 1:5 in a unit with 16 beds and an average daily census of 16 patients. Floating to other units within the facility may be required.
If assigned to a major holiday, the nurse will be expected to work. Compliance is required for timely onboarding. The candidate will be clinically reviewed for fit before final approval.
