• Staffing: unit secretaries and tech available mid‑shift; RNs and PCTs run POC labs; respiratory setup with phone assistance
• Equipment: cardiac/vital sign monitors in all rooms, CT, Xray, POC lab
• Documentation:
  Meditech
• Scheduling: every other weekend required
• Floating policy: possibility to float to main ED
• Patient experience: AIDET, narration of care, SBAR for department, admission, transfer handoff
• Certifications:
  
  Level II trauma, Cardiac Care, Primary Stroke Center, Burn Center, Level II NICU

• Years of experience required: 2 years
• Experience:
  
  ED RN comfortable with most common ED chief complaints and trauma care
• Certifications required: TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS
• Personality:
  Positive, flexible, team‑oriented, patient‑centered

• Perform procedures: IV insertion, Foley catheter insertion, NG tube insertion, assist providers with various common ED procedures
• Maintain patient care and safety
