Advanced Practice Provider (APP)Full Time Professional – Augusta, GA, US
Salary Range: $85,000.00 To $ Annually
Position SummaryThe Advanced Practice Provider will evaluate and treat new and established patients, develop individualized care plans, educate patients regarding their medical conditions, and perform office-based procedures. The APP will work collaboratively with supervising physicians to deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care.
Key Responsibilities (Applicable to Both NP and PA)- See new and established patients in an outpatient pain management setting
- Obtain, review, and document comprehensive medical histories
- Perform physical examinations and assess patient health status
- Develop and implement patient-specific treatment and management plans
- Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests (e.g., laboratory studies, imaging)
- Perform therapeutic and office-based procedures, including injections
- Educate and counsel patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans
- Document all patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant clinical environment
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN or DNP)
- Current, unrestricted Georgia Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license
- National NP certification (AANP or ANCC, as applicable)
- Eligible for or holding prescriptive authority in the state of Georgia
- Current BLS certification
- National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Graduate of an ARC-PA–accredited Physician Assistant program
- NCCPA certification (PA-C)
- Eligible to practice under physician supervision in Georgia
- Current BLS certification
- National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of pain management principles (preferred, not required)
- Professional bedside manner and patient-focused approach
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary medical team
- Commitment to quality care, safety, and continuous learning
- Annual Salary: $85,000–$110,000 (USD), based on experience
