Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department

Job Overview

TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Augusta, Georgia. This is a 13‑week assignment on 12‑hour night shifts, totaling approximately 36 hours per week, for a certified RN with 1–2 years of recent acute‑care experience.

As an ER Travel Nurse you will:

• Evaluate, triage, and implement care using proper procedures and physician instructions in a fast‑paced emergency setting.
• Perform minor medical operations, advise patients and families on illnesses or injuries, and assist in planning long‑term care needs.
• Document medical history, check for allergies, obtain vital signs, and monitor patients’ emotional and physical well‑being.
• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.

Stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. Lift up to 20 pounds routinely and patients up to 50 pounds when necessary.

• 1–2 years of recent acute‑care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (2‑year certificate).
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
