Role Overview: The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They operate within organizational policies, ensuring professional growth and accountability, while maintaining high standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities of assigned staff to deliver quality nursing services.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school;
Bachelor's degree preferred. - No experience required; new graduates eligible.
- Hospital experience preferred; 1 year in hospital setting for PRN roles.
- Current Georgia RN license and/or NLC/eNCL multistate license required.
- BCLS certification required.
- Advanced certifications in specialty areas are a plus.
