Role: Regulatory Affairs Program Coordinator (RN)
Responsibilities- Support compliance activities, including mock surveys and accreditation readiness.
- Coordinate self-tracers, conduct process tracers, analyze findings, and report results.
- Interpret regulations from CMS, The Joint Commission, and other agencies related to hospital, laboratory, and ambulatory care standards.
- Develop and deliver education on healthcare licensure, accreditation, and regulatory trends.
- Assist with workflow development, policy review, and continuing education for staff and management.
- Identify, prioritize, and mitigate compliance risks, collaborating with leaders and clinicians.
- Conduct tracers and audits to improve processes and ensure regulatory adherence.
- Support survey preparation, documentation, and post-survey activities.
- Follow organizational policies, standards, and code of conduct.
- Associates or Bachelors in Nursing; RN license required.
- Minimum 2 years (preferred 5 years) of acute care clinical experience as a registered nurse.
- Certifications:
RN license (compact or single state); CPHQ preferred. - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data management.
