Role Overview
The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain practice standards, coordinate patient care activities, and ensure the delivery of quality nursing services within organizational policies.
QualificationsRequired education includes a nursing program graduate; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. No experience is necessary for new graduates, but hospital experience is preferred.
Licenses & CertificationsMust hold a current Georgia RN license or multistate license and BLS certification. Additional certifications may be required based on specialty, such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, or specialty-specific credentials.
Skills & Key DutiesDemonstrate professional growth, accountability, and adherence to standards, with the ability to coordinate care and obtain specialty certifications within specified timelines.
Additional NotesSign-on bonus available. Nurses may be responsible for reporting high-risk situations and providing protective measures as appropriate.
