Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Augusta, GA

Contract | Days (4x12 Hours, 7:00–19:00) | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity, non-trauma General Emergency Department serving adolescent through geriatric populations
• Manage a patient assignment within a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio in a 59-bed ER averaging 165–175 patients per day
• Utilize Epic for electronic health record documentation and Pyxis for medication management
• Participate in Stroke and STEMI certified care protocols as required
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice on a rare, as-needed basis
• Adhere to holiday and weekend scheduling requirements, including every-other-weekend rotation and coverage of major holidays as they fall within the assignment period

• Active RN licensure in Georgia or a Compact state at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience; first-time travelers are not accepted
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and PALS certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic (required) and Pyxis
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements, with all compliance documents submitted by the Tuesday prior to start date

• Prior travel nursing experience in a high-volume or high-acuity emergency department setting
• Familiarity with Stroke and STEMI care pathways and protocols

• Guaranteed hours per week (36 or 48 hour guarantee) providing schedule stability throughout your contract
