Travel PCU Stepdown RN

We are seeking a skilled Stepdown RN to provide specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units. The role involves monitoring cardiac rhythms, administering medications, preparing equipment, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and comfort. Key responsibilities include interpreting telemetry data, responding to emergencies, documenting patient conditions, and educating patients on cardiac health and lifestyle changes.

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Preferred certifications include PCCN and NIHSS.

• Critical thinking, strong communication, physical ability to move equipment and patients, proficiency in procedures, and the capacity to work under pressure while maintaining confidentiality.

• Monitoring vital signs, administering treatments, assisting during procedures, ensuring safety, documenting care, and supporting patient education.
