Requirements:
- Current nursing license
- Relevant certifications for cardiovascular nursing
- Experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Implement the nursing process based on expanded knowledge and experience.
- Provide patient care that is age-appropriate and addresses biological, emotional, developmental, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients and families.
- Deliver patient care in complex, urgent, emergent, and life-saving situations.
- Coordinate surgical suite activities and prioritize surgical team in emergent situations.
- Participate in staff development and professional self-development.
Compliance / Notes:
- Weekday, weekend, and holiday call required.
- Some charge nurse responsibilities may be required.
