Registered Nurse

This is a float pool position. The candidate must be flexible with scheduling and willing to float to multiple units. Experience in medical-surgical, telemetry, and PCU diagnoses is essential. The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 1:4-5 for PCU and 1:5-6 for medical-surgical and telemetry units. The role requires proficiency in various clinical skills, including but not limited to: arterial line management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, management of dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring, and tracheostomy care.

The candidate may be expected to work one major holiday during their assignment. Flexibility to work weekends is required, with an average of 6 weekends in a 13-week contract. Compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary to start on time. A thorough understanding of isolation precautions and the ability to utilize PPE is expected. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team are important.
