Registered Nurse – IMC​/PCU​/Stepdown

$1713.60/week –

Job Summary:

Provides specialized nursing care for adult to geriatric patients in float pool positions across PCU, IMC, and Stepdown units. Must demonstrate flexibility in scheduling and unit assignments to support hospital staffing needs.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care in adult and geriatric populations, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and other unit-specific systems.
• Adhere to established protocols, including patient ratios and unit guidelines.
• Demonstrate flexibility with float responsibilities across various units.
• Comply with all regulations, certifications, and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license for GA or a Compact state at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience.
• Certified in BLS and ACLS.
• Experience working in PCU, IMC, or Stepdown units.
• Proficiency in Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR communication methods.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and major holidays.
