Registered Nurse - IMC​/PCU​/Stepdown

Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse will provide specialized care to adult and geriatric patients in a stepdown, IMC, or PCU setting. The role involves managing multiple patient diagnoses with an emphasis on safe, effective, and compassionate nursing practices.

• Assess patients' conditions to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following hospital protocols and patient needs.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in clinical status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, safety standards, and state licensure requirements.

• Hold an active RN license in Georgia or a Compact state.
• Possess at least 1 year of recent RN experience in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units.
• Successfully complete all required compliance and orientation modules on time.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR communication tools.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
• Able to float across IMC, PCU, and Telemetry units as needed.
