Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a vital member of our medical staff, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the well-being of patients in both Level I and Level II trauma centers. Your expertise will be crucial in medication administration, patient assessment, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Duties
  • Assess and monitor patient health status, including vital signs and symptoms.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Provide care for patients in various settings, including inpatient units and trauma centers.
  • Perform venipuncture and other necessary procedures to facilitate patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
  • Assist in specialized procedures such as sonography and dialysis when required.
  • Support patients with ophthalmology needs, providing appropriate care and referrals.
Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Experience working in a Level I or Level II trauma center is preferred.
  • Proficiency in medication administration and patient monitoring techniques.
  • Strong skills in venipuncture and other clinical procedures.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Ability to ventilate patients when necessary, demonstrating proficiency in emergency care protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • A compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on improving health outcomes.
