Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will provide clinical leadership to care teams, oversee daily operations, and ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. Responsibilities include supervising clinical staff, managing schedules, supporting evidence-based practice, monitoring quality and compliance, and collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day clinical leadership and supervision for a multidisciplinary team of nurses and allied health professionals
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and patient flow to ensure safe, effective, and efficient delivery of care
- Serve as a clinical resource and role model, supporting complex clinical decision-making and best practice standards
- Monitor compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational policies, including infection prevention and patient safety protocols
- Oversee accurate, timely clinical documentation and promote effective use of the electronic health record (EHR)
- Support and lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives, including data review and performance feedback
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance evaluation, and ongoing professional development of staff
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other team members
- Manage daily operational needs, including resource allocation, supply and equipment readiness, and escalation of issues as needed
- Contribute to unit or service-line strategic planning, policy and procedure development, and implementation of new clinical initiatives
