Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with telemetry experience to provide compassionate patient care for adult to geriatric populations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complex cardiac conditions in a fast-paced telemetry unit.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and established protocols.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and update patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in the Epic electronic health record system.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations within the unit.
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and hospital policies.
  
  Qualifications:
• Hold a valid RN license in Georgia or a Compact state at the time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry nursing experience.
• Be BLS and ACLS certified; NIH preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR communication.
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12-hour shifts, 19:00-07:00).
• Capable of floating within the facility and working independently in a high-pressure environment.
