Overview
The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They operate in accordance with organizational policies and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
Responsibilities- Coordinate patient care activities and maintain standards of practice.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality nursing care by supervising assigned staff.
- Adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
- Graduate of a nursing program; new graduates eligible.
- Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
- BLS certification required.
- Preferred: hospital nursing experience, bachelor’s degree, and advanced certification in specialty areas.
