American Traveler is seeking an experienced GI/Endoscopy RN with ERCP proficiency and an active GA or compact RN license for a hospital-based inpatient endoscopy role.

• Inpatient hospital setting within the Endoscopy unit
• Adult to geriatric patient population
• Patient ratio of 1:2 across 3 procedure rooms with 11 beds and an average daily census of 20
• Day shift schedule consisting of 4x9-hour shifts (mix of 8 and 10 hour days) totaling 36 hours per week, starting at 6:30 AM
• Required to work 2-3 weekends per contract
• No floating required
• Call requirements include 1 weekday call per week and 1 weekend call per 6-week schedule
• Utilizes Pyxis and Epic systems

• Active GA or Compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• ERCP experience required, including ERCP with Spy Glass
• Experience with Bronchoscopy, EBUS, Colonoscopy, EGD, and ION procedures required
• Skilled in administering and monitoring conscious sedation
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred; charge nurse references not accepted
• Copies of all required certifications needed for consideration

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract, must be finalized prior to submission with no requests allowed during orientation week
• Holiday coverage required per facility policy for New Year's Eve/Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, and Christmas Eve/Day
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Previous Piedmont employees must be away from all Piedmont facilities for one full year before returning as a traveler
• Travel pairs are not permitted to work the same shift on the same unit Shift schedule is firm with no alternate shift or schedule requests permitted
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Clinical screening required prior to manager review for final hiring decision

The weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, reflects the lower end of this range for local candidates and higher end of this range for travel candidates. Weekly travel pay includes tax-free stipends per IRS guidelines.

Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
