This nursing role involves coordinating and delivering quality patient care across all age groups, managing operational issues during shifts, and providing clinical assistance as needed. The nurse serves as a resource and communicates effectively with staff and leadership to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities Include
  • Providing comprehensive nursing care and addressing operational matters during shifts
  • Communicating patient, departmental, and staff concerns to leadership
  • Guiding and supporting nursing staff in clinical practice
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans
  • Promoting a safe, ethical, and inclusive environment
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams and integrating evidence-based practices
  • Participating in quality improvement and self-evaluation activities
Qualifications And Skills
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program;
    Bachelor’s preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred
  • Current RN licensure in the state and/or multistate licensure
  • Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, PEARS, and specialty-specific certifications depending on unit
  • Additional certifications may be required based on specialty area, such as TNCC, ENPC, or fetal monitoring programs
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and utilize clinical data to develop and evaluate care plans
  • Strong communication, ethical practice, and team collaboration skills
  • Commitment to ongoing learning, evidence-based practice, and fostering a safe environment
