American Traveler seeks a CVOR Surgical Tech with vascular OR and endovascular experience for a hospital position requiring prior travel experience.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of Vascular OR experience required
Prior travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
BLS certification required
NBSTSA certification preferred
License required if applicable
Trauma Level I experience preferred
Experience with EVAR, CSI, and Penumbra preferred
Skilled in vascular procedures including AAA repair, carotid endarterectomy, TEVAR, and femoral popliteal bypass graft
Skilled in cardiovascular procedures including CABG, TAVR, VAD, and mitral valve replacement
Proficient in aseptic technique, radiation safety, sharps safety, and specimen handling
Experience with case cart preparation, electrosurgical units, and care of scopes/fiber optic equipment

Responsibilities

Hospital-based Vascular OR and Hybrid OR setting with CVOR cases
Adult to geriatric patient population
Day shift, 3x12 hours (6:30 AM-7:00 PM)
Every other weekend rotation unless otherwise specified
May rarely float to Main OR
On-call requirement of 7 days on, 7 days off rotation
Uses Epic (preferred) and Pyxis systems
OR scrubs provided by facility
Support vascular and cardiovascular surgical procedures in CVOR and general OR settings
Maintain safety protocols including universal protocol (time out), fire safety, and emergency management procedures
Participate in isolation precautions and PPE use as required
Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, finalized at time of submission
No RTO permitted during orientation week or during Spring Break blackout dates (April 4th-12th)
Expected to work assigned holidays based on how many major holidays fall within the assignment period
Local candidates accepted at the same rate
Full compliance required prior to start date to avoid scheduling delays
