Monarch Landscape Management is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Plant Health Care Manager to lead our efforts in diagnosing, treating, and preventing landscape pest and disease issues. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in arboriculture, horticulture, or plant sciences who enjoys working outdoors, managing treatments, and educating clients and team members.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess plant health across commercial landscapes
- Identify pests, diseases, and environmental stressors affecting trees, shrubs, and turf
- Recommend and administer appropriate treatments (chemical, cultural, or biological)
- Maintain compliance with all local and state pesticide application regulations
- Develop and maintain treatment schedules and service logs
- Communicate plant health conditions and solutions with clients and internal teams
- Train field staff on best practices in plant care and disease prevention
- Manage PHC materials, equipment, and budget
- 3+ years of experience in plant health care, horticulture, or arboriculture
- Texas Pesticide Applicator License or ability to obtain
- Strong diagnostic skills for pest and disease identification
- Experience with spraying and application equipment
- Excellent communication and record-keeping skills
- ISA Certification or Arborist background is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
$65,000 - $75,000 yearly
