Fulltime 40 hour work week, Monday – Friday – Contract

This is a fulltime position working day shift Monday thru Friday. Five (5) years of experience preferred, security clearance is a plus. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring all work meets or exceeds established standards, codes, and project requirements. This position requires a detail-oriented leader with a deep understanding of quality assurance practices and construction methodologies.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control management for heavy civil construction projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local construction codes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Must be willing to work onsite in Savannah, GA, with occasional travel as needed.
  • Valid Driver’s License and travel to job sites.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the project’s Quality Control Plan (QCP) in compliance with contract specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct inspections and audits to ensure all construction activities, materials, and workmanship meet quality standards.
  • Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to address quality-related issues and resolve discrepancies.
  • Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present regular quality performance reports to project stakeholders.
  • Train and mentor site personnel on quality control processes and standards.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with clients, engineers, and regulatory agencies on quality matters.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions to address deficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and participate in safety inspections as needed.
