Job OverviewThe Quality Control Manager (QCM) is responsible for developing, implementing, and administering the Contractor's Quality Control Program to ensure all services are performed in accordance with contract requirements, applicable regulations, and established quality standards. The QCM monitors contract performance, conducts inspections, identifies deficiencies, and implements corrective actions to promote continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities EssentialJob Duties
- Develop, implement, and manage the contract Quality Control Program.
- Conduct quality inspections of work performed to verify compliance with contract requirements and performance standards.
- Identify deficiencies, document findings, and oversee corrective actions to resolution.
- Perform root cause analyses to identify recurring performance issues and recommend process improvements.
- Prepare and submit quality reports, inspection results, and performance metrics to the Government.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and quality trends to improve contract performance.
- Coordinate with project leadership, supervisors, and Government representatives to resolve quality concerns.
- Verify completion of corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain quality documentation and inspection records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and quality management requirements.
- Administration of the Quality Control Program.
- Inspection and verification of contract performance.
- Deficiency identification and corrective action management.
- Root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Quality reporting and documentation.
- Compliance with contract quality requirements.
- Customer satisfaction and performance standards.

- Coordination with Government quality representatives.
- Achievement of contract quality objectives.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Quality Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience performing quality control management functions on a Public Works, Base Operations Support Services (BOSS), Facilities Maintenance, or similar Government services contract.
- Experience managing quality programs, inspections, deficiency tracking, and corrective actions.
- Experience analyzing performance data to improve operational performance
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain any Government-required security clearance or installation access.
- Previous Army or Department of Defense contract experience.
- Certified Quality Manager (CQM), ASQ certification, or equivalent.
- Experience supporting IMCOM or Directorate of Public Works operations.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management principles.
