Job Summary
Maintain a clean and tidy lab environment by picking up and delivering research packages, making simple solutions, and stocking the laboratory with essential items for experiments to be properly carried out. Assist in cell culture, tissue collection, and following assays.
Responsibilities- Mouse colony maintenance, genotyping and inventory updates.
- Collect issue samples from mice and perform molecular and histopathological experiments.
- Assistance in cell culture, Western blot.
- Frozen sectioning; immunostaining.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, cell biology, social sciences, natural sciences, life, health care, or materials science directly related to the research area, with experience in a research or clinical setting; or
- Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in the same fields and a minimum of three years’ experience in a research or clinical area.
- Cell culture, mouse tissue collection, and molecular cell biology techniques.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases or willing to learn. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational, multi-tasking, problem solving, and prioritization skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality, work with research animals, and complete work independently with general supervision.
Shift / Salary / Benefits- Shift: Days;
Monday - Friday. Work outside of normal business hours may be required. - Salary: $17.88 - $21.92 per hour.
- Pay Band: B5. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications within the established range.
- Recruitment Period:
