Performs work related to bioinformatics analyses in the field of cardiovascular genomics.

• Design and perform bioinformatics analyses in cardiovascular genomics (e.g., GWAS, molecular QTL, drug screening, biomarker identification, precision medicine, single‑cell RNA/ATAC‑seq, and CRISPR screening techniques)
• Maintain research databases and communicate effectively with laboratory members and collaborators
• Collaborate with computational and wet‑lab biologists for mechanism elucidation
• Prepare written and oral presentations of results for the team and the public
• Organize and manage large amounts of genetic data and summary statistics
• Supervise junior members in the lab and assist the PI with publications and grant applications
• Perform any other job‑related duties as assigned by the PI

• Master’s degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, cell biology, or a related natural/health science field, with experience in research, basic science, or a clinical laboratory, particularly clinical trial research
• OR Bachelor’s degree in the same fields with a minimum of three years’ research and/or clinical experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer software/databases.

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Shift: Days (Monday‑Friday; occasional work outside normal business hours may be required).
Salary: $45,400 – $56,700 annually (commensurate with qualifications).
Pay Band: B8.

• Successful completion of a background check (and credit check for Positions of Trust or Purchase Card usage, when applicable)
