Lab applies in-silico as well as in-vitro and in-vivo methods to further unravel the genetics of cardiovascular diseases. We have a large dataset and are engaged in large networks of national and international collaborations like CARDIoGRAMplusC4D, Leducq, and others, and actively participate in data and sample exchange.

• Bioinformatics: Interested or have a good command of bioinformatics or computational biology.
• Experiments: Application of GWAS, molecular QTL, precision medicine, Single-cell RNA and ATAC‑seq, Single-cell CRISPR screening techniques.
• Genetics: Genetics and biology of cardiovascular diseases.
• Collaborating: Collaborating with computational and wet‑lab biologists for mechanism elucidation.
• Presenting: Preparing written and oral presentations of results for the team and the public.
• Mentor: Supervision of staff and students.
• Organize Data: Maintaining and organizing large amounts of genetic data and summary statistics.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Ph.D. or equivalent from an accredited college or university in computational biology.

• Experience with cardiovascular genomics.

• Knowledge: (none specified)
• Skills: Detail-oriented with strong prioritization and organizational skills.
• Abilities: Ability to maintain confidentiality;
  Ability to complete work and to meet deadlines;
  Willingness and ability to work with research animals;
  Ability to work independently with only general supervision.

• Shift: Days; M-F (Work outside of the standard business hours may be required).
• Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate.
