Research Assistant
The Research Assistant will provide laboratory assistance directly to the Principal Investigator and the laboratory team, with some ability to work independently in carrying out multiple techniques, including
-but not limited to- culture of established cancer and normal cell lines, primary tissue cultures, proteomics (western-blot, ELISA), DNA-RNA isolation/purification, PCR/RT-PCR, immunocytochemistry and immunohistochemistry for immune cells, cancer cells, cloning, working with biological specimens, providing assistance in mouse models. Data Collection to include participating in research data collection, analysis, maintaining institutional research protocols and a willingness to learn bioinformatics.
