Job Summary

This position is located within the Fort Gordon Business Operations Division.

• Sets up bars for operation, obtains cash bank and stocks service bar.
• Prepares a limited variety of simple alcoholic beverages as requested by patrons and wait staff.
• Records sales and makes change or prepares charge slips.
• Keeps bar and work area clean and sanitary.
• Assures an adequate stock level is maintained; sets up storeroom and work area to permit easy access to stock items.

• Direct deposit and Social Security Card required.
• Meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Male applicants born after 12‑31‑59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service.
• Position, duty hours, location, and/or activity are subject to change based on mission requirements.
• Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre‑employment checks in accordance with AR 215‑3, para.
  2, including a medical examination.
• Is required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally‑controlled facilities.

• Meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverages at the time of appointment (18 years old).
• Be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds.
• Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory.
• Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages.
