Compensation & HoursBase pay: $20 per hour.
Hours: 20 hours per week. Must have weekend availability.
Store hours:
- Monday - Saturday: 10am - 8pm
- Sunday: 11am - 7pm

- Lead and create a best‑in‑class customer experience by connecting shoppers with Wayfair’s extensive online assortment.
- Master the brand story and communicate it with polished professionalism.
- Maintain leadership presence through effective floor management and resource allocation.
- Deliver on sales and service KPIs, productivity standards, and drive profitability across all omni‑channel platforms.
- Amplify the Wayfair brand as part of a high‑performing, customer‑centric team.
- Manage and monitor stock levels, merchandise adjacencies, presentations, signing, and assortment to keep the sales floor adequately stocked.
- Ensure the store meets visual, replenishment, cleanliness, safety, and back‑of‑house standards during floor leadership shifts.
- Use sales analytics tools to drive store profitability, traffic, loyalty, and growth.
- Perform opening and closing routines and supervise to meet financial goals and excellent service standards.
- Master selling essentials and training resources to educate the team on our product assortment.
- Participate in operational store activities: new products, floor sets, replenishment, substitutions, and general upkeep.
- Engage in a high‑energy, dynamic environment with rapid changes in products, promotions, and operations.
- Live by, emulate, and guide by our People Principles every day.
- As Keyholder, open and close the store.
- 2+ years of leadership or experience managing a team.
- Brick‑and‑mortar retail experience in furniture or home goods preferred.
- Track record of thriving in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
- Strong organization, self‑motivation, communication, and relationship‑management skills.
- Technical acumen to learn necessary software; experience with Google Cloud G Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms) preferred.
- Physical ability: standing, walking, reaching, climbing ladders, bending, kneeling for up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills.
- Ability to anticipate customer needs.
- Ability to operate or quickly learn the store’s point‑of‑sale system.
- Technical acumen with Google Cloud G Suite preferred.
- Ability to process information and merchandise through a computer system and POS register.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, talk, hear, handle, feel, reach, sit occasionally, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl; lift or move up to 50 lbs.
- Visual abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, focus adjustment.
Shift schedule varies due to retail nature; minimum two‑week advance notice and opportunity to trade shifts. Employee shifts may include two hours before or after store hours.
