Position Summary
As a Tire & Battery Center Technician you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department and deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.
What you’ll do- Be a Team Member:
Collaborates with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educating associates on tools, tasks, resources, and mentoring new technicians, communicating and developing interpersonal skills for safe and efficient customer service. - Be an Expert:
Demonstrates knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, seasonality, and Point of Sale systems, phone and in‑person selling techniques. - Be a Techie:
Leverages digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement using handheld technology and systems to make immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, new product information, product application and training, adapting to new tools and encouraging others to use them. - Be an Owner:
Communicates equipment, tools and supplies needs to TBC Lead, tracks and monitors returns and special orders, operates cash registers, processes transactions, works hands‑on in the physical area, maintains accurate inventory, audits safety and compliance standards, reports TBC complaints and safety hazards, completes paperwork, logs, and other documentation, ensures merchandise is packaged, labeled and stored per company policies, identifies member needs, assists members with purchasing decisions, and resolves issues. - Be a Talent Ambassador:
Acts as a brand advocate by valuing the member experience, modeling high‑quality service, influencing others, working respectfully, and supporting team‑oriented goals, understanding roadblocks, and training team members. - Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing action plans and using the Open Door Policy.
- Completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners, identifying priorities and deadlines, communicating progress, and recommending improvement opportunities.

SalaryThe hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. Actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season or specific work performed.
