Retail Associate/ Customer Service
Position Summary
Assists management with the supervision of associates in assigned area of responsibility by assigning duties, communicating goals, providing training and feedback, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Supports membership by providing information on membership types, programs, and benefits, processing memberships and upgrades, encouraging renewals, and participating in sales and marketing events.
Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, guiding self-service technology, processing transactions, and ensuring pull-up orders are filled. Oversees the assigned area by handling claims, returns, zoning, arranging merchandise, identifying shrink, maintaining cart availability, and ensuring parking lot cleanliness.
Completes accounting records, processes transactions, maintains records, creates financial analyses, assists with investigations, prepares deposits, oversees cash fund transfers, and maintains confidentiality of financial information.
Develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners, monitoring progress, identifying improvement opportunities, and ensuring compliance with company policies and ethics.
Leads and participates in teams, using resources and tools, coordinating assignments, providing advice, and modeling adaptability to change and new challenges. Builds diverse, inclusive workplace where associates are supported, and encourages continuous learning and resilience.

- Hourly wage range: $21.00 to $29.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage for the location. Additional premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
6 months retail experience including operating front-end equipment (e.g., cash register) and 6 months customer service experience; must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred QualificationsLeading a front-end team; supervising experience including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing workload of others.
