Loss Prevention Store Detective

AJ2 Security is seeking experienced retail store detectives to work at our industry leading client's store locations. We have built a reputation for providing exceptional service to our clients through our highly professional team of detectives. We currently have openings in Augusta Georgia

Job Description:

Store detectives are responsible for protecting the assets of our clients (cash, merchandise, property) as well as ensuring a safe and secure environment by doing the following:

Watching the activity of customers, employees, vendors, and delivery people for suspicious behavior
Working in and LP shirt to detect and apprehend potential shoplifters
Using cctv and other security systems to monitor activity in client locations
Filing complaints with police and testifying in court in regards to apprehensions and investigations which you took part in

Skills Required:

High degree of professionalism
Good decision making under pressure
Ability to work independently
Strong report writing and communication skills
Ability to travel to store locations within 25 miles of home
Ability to work retail store hours

Experience Requirements:

A minimum of 6 months of verifiable retail store detective experience required (working undercover to detect and apprehend shoplifters)
Georgia security license
