General Manager - Luxury Retail Flagship

A rapidly growing luxury Western lifestyle retailer is seeking an accomplished General Manager to lead its flagship Houston store.

This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for someone who combines strong retail business acumen with exceptional people leadership, sales ability and a passion for delivering a personalized luxury customer experience. The General Manager will operate the store with an ownership mindset, taking responsibility for its commercial performance, team, customer relationships and day-to-day operations.

• Take ownership of store sales, profitability, payroll, inventory and operational performance.
• Deliver an elevated, highly personalized customer experience.
• Build a strong clienteling culture that encourages loyalty, referrals and repeat business.
• Recruit, coach, motivate and retain a high-performing sales and support team.
• Establish clear goals and monitor conversion, average transaction value, units per transaction and individual performance.
• Analyze sales trends and take timely action to improve results.
• Maintain exceptional merchandising, presentation, organization and product-care standards.
• Develop relationships and partnerships within the Houston community.
• Ensure the team can confidently communicate the craftsmanship and stories behind the merchandise.
• Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, trust and recognition.

• Demonstrated retail management experience, ideally within luxury, premium or high-touch specialty retail.
• Proven success leading, coaching and developing retail sales teams.
• Strong commercial understanding of sales, payroll, inventory and store performance.
• Experience building customer relationships and developing a clienteling culture.
• Entrepreneurial, results-oriented mindset with ownership of outcomes.
• Confident decision-making and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills.
• Ability to work on-site, including evenings, weekends, holidays and peak retail periods.
• An appreciation of luxury craftsmanship, fashion or the Western lifestyle.
• Western retail experience is preferred.

• Base salary of $85,000–$110,000
  , depending on experience.
• Relocation assistance available.
• Approximately 80% of employee healthcare coverage paid by the employer.
• 10 days of annual paid time off, with potential flexibility.
