Enterprise Account Director – FSI at Adobe

The Challenge

Adobe is looking for an Account Director responsible for achieving sales targets by selling Adobe’s Digital Marketing product lines to our largest customers in the Financial Services and Insurance (FSI) industry. The role requires building long‑term relationships, crafting strategic account plans, and delivering a seamless, customer‑centric experience.

Responsibilities
  • Approach the business strategically, setting a multi‑year vision and strategy grounded in value for your account portfolio.
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute a clear sales plan that aligns with the attorney‑advisor cadence.
  • Proactively solve ambitious and sophisticated problems that enable Adobe to better serve our customers.
  • Communicate effectively and persuasively with executives (CIO, CTO, CMO, CDO) to uncover business‑viable solutions from their perspective.
  • Build strong executive relationships across multiple functional domains.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, demonstrating industry expertise, thought leadership, and the macro‑economic environment.
  • Present the Adobe story, unique value proposition, and return‑on‑investment projections to drive customer commitment.
  • Collaborate with Adobe’s ecosystem and partners to deliver integrated outcomes and support the customer journey.
  • Own territory and account strategy, ensuring alignment across the internal cross‑functional team.
  • Manage complex sales processes involving legal, deal desk, product marketing, product support and engineering, and existing Adobe customers.
  • Engage external third parties (tech partners, systems integrators) to expand solution reach.
  • Meet or exceed sales quota, maintaining a healthy, rolling 4‑quarter pipeline.
  • Lead regular account planning meetings, document account plans, and coordinate with support organizations to funnel opportunities into your accounts.
Ideal Candidate
  • 5 to 7+ years of continuous success in selling marketing, IT, and brand solutions to large enterprise organizations.
  • Strong teamwork skills, partnering effectively with Sales, Support, Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams.
  • Deep understanding of digital experience technologies and SaaS within the FSI space.
  • Validated sales excellence with a creative, problem‑solving approach.
Compensation

The U.S. pay range for this position is $270,700 – $446,000 annually. Pay varies by market location and may depend on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. For sales roles, total target compensation includes base salary plus commission earned from sales commissions and short‑term incentive plans. Certain roles may qualify for long‑term incentives through a new‑hire equity award.

State‑Specific Notices
