Software Sales Account Executive – AI‑Augmented Selling (ATM & Self‑Service Software)

This is a junior software sales role (3–5 years experience) focused on driving new and expansion software revenue for NCR Atleos’ ATM and self-service software portfolio. The role is designed with a 60/40 split between hunting (opportunity creation) and farming (pipeline progression and account expansion). Rather than requiring deep ATM, payments, or banking experience, this role prioritizes strong AI fluency—using Copilot and AI‑assisted prompting to accelerate learning, improve discovery quality, qualify opportunities, and position the NCR Atleos solution portfolio more effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Opportunity Identification & Hunting
Generate and qualify new opportunities using AI‑assisted research, account analysis, and signal detection. Use Copilot and AI tools to identify customer pain points, triggers, and environment gaps. Analyze financial institutions’ channel, ATM, and self‑service environments. Prioritize accounts using CRM data, market insights, and AI‑generated recommendations. - Discovery, Qualification & Positioning
Conduct structured discovery conversations informed by AI‑driven preparation. Use AI prompting to explore customer workflows, constraints, and success metrics. Map customer needs to NCR Atleos software solutions. Identify qualification risks and competitive pressures early. - Deal Development & Execution
Collaborate with senior account executives, software specialists, and sales engineers. Work with software subscription sales operations to construct accurate quotations. Ensure orders reflect correct terms, pricing, and subscription structures. Maintain clean CRM hygiene supported by AI‑generated summaries and call notes. - Performance & Continuous Improvement
Analyze pipeline and sales performance trends. Use AI insights to improve deal quality and conversion rates. Continuously refine selling approaches through feedback and experimentation.
- 3–5 years of B2B sales experience
- Demonstrated use of AI tools such as Copilot in a work or sales context
- Demonstrated success in complex sales initiatives
- Strong curiosity and rapid learning ability
- Experience with lead generation and opportunity qualification
- Comfort using CRM systems, data, and sales metrics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Resilience and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment
- Nice to have:
Software, SaaS, or subscription sales experience - Exposure to financial institutions, payments, ATM, or self‑service solutions
- Familiarity with sales engagement and analytics tools
- Consistent generation of qualified pipeline using AI‑assisted selling
