Packaging Consultant

Overview

We are a global packaging leader and the North America’s largest distributor of primary packaging. We provide innovative solutions to clients across a variety of industries and value collaboration among team members worldwide. We are looking for a motivated, consultative sales professional to help customers master the complex details of packaging.

• Uncover customer needs and create custom, value‑added packaging solutions.
• Determine the right products and collaborate with design experts and team members when needed.
• Engage with customers on final product changes throughout the sales cycle.
• Manage and nurture client relationships, building the sales pipeline and driving revenue.
• Travel overnight as required to meet customers.

• A Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and 3+ years of progressive sales experience.
• Experience in consultative sales with medium to large businesses and lengthy sales cycles (3 months to 2 years).
• Solid written and verbal communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Proficiency with a CRM to manage customer accounts and a calendar of events.
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) knowledge.

You will learn our business, the industry, the sales process, how to generate leads, and how our database and customer cycles work. Your base of operation will be the office closest to your territory.
