Hotel Bardo Savannah is seeking a confident, experienced, and highly professional Security Manager to lead our Security team at our luxury urban resort. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of resort safety and security, ensuring a secure and welcoming environment for guests, team members, and property assets.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and decisive in high‑pressure situations. This role requires a hands‑on leader who can balance operational oversight with guest‑focused service.

• Lead, train, and manage the Security team, ensuring consistent coverage, performance, and professionalism
• Oversee daily security operations, including surveillance systems, patrols, access control, and incident response
• Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and emergency protocols
• Act as the primary point of contact for security‑related incidents, emergencies, and investigations
• Collaborate closely with hotel leadership, department heads, and local emergency services as needed
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company standards, and legal requirements
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities, access points, and security equipment to ensure operational integrity
• Prepare incident reports, documentation, and post‑incident reviews with accuracy and discretion
• Maintain a visible presence on property to support guest confidence and team accountability
• Uphold a culture of safety while delivering service aligned with the resort’s luxury standards

• Proven experience in a security leadership or supervisory role, preferably in hospitality or a luxury environment
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team‑development skills
• Excellent observational, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities
• Ability to remain composed and act decisively under pressure
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with security systems, surveillance technology, and emergency response protocols
• High level of integrity, discretion, and ethical judgment
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including walking, standing, and responding to incidents
• Commitment to maintaining exceptional presentation, grooming, and professional standards
• Ability to uphold and enforce resort safety, security, and service expectations
