Security Officer Medical Facility

Security Officer – Medical Facility (Augusta, GA) This part‑time position requires you to serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries. You will build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a behavioral health location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to discourage security‑related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication.

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and patients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including entrances, hallways, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and activity within the location to help support authorized entry, visitor direction, and adherence to site protocols.
• Assist with de‑escalation support, observe behavior that may require attention, and communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or emergency responders during security‑related situations.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
