Access Control Specialist (ACS)Potential responsibilities may include:
Control access to designated facilities, restricted areas and controlled spaces. Verify credentials, badges, identification and access authorizations. Maintain visitor, employee, contractor and vehicle access records. Monitor entry and exit points and report suspicious or unauthorized activity. Conduct required security checks, inspections and patrols. Maintain accurate logs, reports and shift documentation. Follow site-specific security procedures and customer requirements. Respond appropriately to alarms, incidents and emergency situations.
Maintain professional interaction with employees, visitors and customer personnel.
Potential responsibilities may include:
Conduct surveillance of construction activities within controlled or secure environments. Monitor uncleared construction personnel and subcontractors. Maintain continuous visual observation as required by applicable procedures. Inspect construction materials, equipment, tools and work areas. Identify and report security concerns, anomalies or unauthorized activities. Maintain detailed daily logs, incident reports and surveillance documentation. Support site security requirements during construction, renovation or modification activities.
Follow applicable construction security plans and customer procedures. Coordinate with site security management and authorized government representatives.
Potential responsibilities may include:
Monitor security systems, alarms, access-control systems, cameras and communications equipment. Receive, document and respond to security-related calls and notifications. Dispatch security personnel or contact emergency services when required. Maintain daily activity logs, incident reports and operational records. Track alarms, events and security incidents through resolution. Communicate with security personnel, site leadership and customer representatives. Support emergency notification, accountability and incident-response procedures.
Protect sensitive operational and personnel information. Maintain awareness of site activities and emerging security concerns.
Potential responsibilities may include:
Process visitors, vendors, contractors and other personnel requiring facility access. Verify identification, visit requests, clearance information and sponsorship. Issue and recover temporary badges and visitor credentials. Maintain visitor records, access documentation and accountability logs. Coordinate with sponsors, security personnel and customer representatives. Provide visitors with applicable security and facility instructions. Identify and report discrepancies, unauthorized access attempts or suspicious behavior.
Protect personally identifiable information and other sensitive records. Maintain a professional and customer-service-focused visitor processing environment.
