As a Security Officer at a financial institution, where you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to concerns.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.

• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter, monitoring for unusual activity and/or policy violations.

• Monitor access points and assist employees, visitors, and authorized personnel in accordance with location procedures.

• Document security-related incidents, observations, and activities through accurate reports and timely communication.

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.

• Be at least 21 years of age.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
